What does problem.so publish?
The site publishes original problems, browser-based tools, and checked explanations that teach a reusable reasoning method instead of only revealing an answer.
What readers can expect
- One useful task: each page helps the reader solve, compare, test, or understand something.
- Visible reasoning: answers explain how the result follows from the facts.
- Honest limits: open questions are not presented as certain answers.
What we are building
problem.so is an independent English-language puzzle and problem-solving publication. The core experience is one worthwhile problem each day, supported by generators, reasoning tests, and a learning library that connects puzzle techniques to real decisions.
What makes a page worth publishing
A page must do at least one useful thing that a short generic summary cannot: provide an interactive tool, a worked example, an original challenge, a reusable framework, a comparison, or a transparent method. We do not publish location-swapped or keyword-swapped pages.
How puzzles are checked
Each puzzle is reviewed for stated assumptions, clue consistency, alternate interpretations, solution completeness, and a defensible difficulty label. Our problem design and checking methodology explains the process from reasoning goal through post-publication review. When several answers fit the facts, the explanation must say so.
Who writes the site
The site is maintained by the problem.so editorial team. We do not invent expert credentials, user counts, test results, or personal experiences. A named contributor page will be added only when a real contributor has approved a public biography.
Corrections
If a challenge is ambiguous or an article contains an error, send the page URL and issue to the editorial team. Material corrections follow the editorial and puzzle quality policy and are recorded with an updated date.
